Big red, pink, and mint dots on dark green, with a tiny tree or ornament or candy cane tucked inside every few, and a thin gold rim around the edge. These are the retro Christmas plates for the house that decorates in pink and mint instead of red and gold, and they still read as Christmas because of the green. At 8.5" they’re dessert plates: a stack of cookies at the cookie exchange, a brownie at the holiday open house, or the appetizer round before dinner. The paper is heavy, 450gsm, so they don’t bend under a loaded plate, and the gold rim means they stay out of the microwave.
